Physical Geog Education in NJC
I really don't get the idea of te rangi. Goodness. I hate being reminded about the disgusting text about whales -__-
Anyway, point I want to make: my physical geog teacher totally @#$% like SERIOUSLY.
First lesson, she asked the class "Define space in a physical context (cheemo)". My group was thinking the literally way: got space between earth crusts then magma can go through. No space then will push, hence subduct or form fold mountains. Makes sense what. But noooo, space is like a three-dimensional room with limited air... the rest I didn't bother to listen cos I was too busy being amazed by how space is a room with air. Absolutely AMAZING. Wonderful. I totally understand.
Then 2nd lesson she gave us an article on Haiti earthquake and ask us to answer this essay qn "The past is the key to the future. To what extent does the article support this statement?" Right.
And just yesterday she asked ME to answer "How do you know that fold mountains are ACTUALLY formed by a O-C or C-C convergence? Why can't it be other factors that caused it to fold?" Then I answered "Because there is no other force or pressure that is big enough to ACTUALLY cause the crust to fold, stupid (I muttered stupid under my breath. I don't know whether she heard it not, but it just came out too naturally)." In the end, fold mountains are formed by the O-C or C-C convergence cos it lies parallel/along the plate boundary so it is caused by the convergence. LIKE OH MY ( ) GOODNESS. I can't wait to strangle her.
It's no wonder there's this guy in my class who pons physical geog classes all the time by 1. saying he has to train for CCA (track), 2. he has track competition, 3. he's not feeling well, 4. he's still not feeling well, and so on. I think so far he only attended 2 geog lessons. Oh, of which he slept in, OPENLY, cos he was seated right in the middle of the class.
Tell me, how can ANYONE stand this kind of crappy geog lessons -___-"
MISS YOU MISS GOH!! Make me appreciate geog teachers who are not like the one above.
